If you’ve been forced to make the decision of talking to somebody about your stress, then the first person/people I would advise you to talk to is your family. You may be surprised; there’s a chance that they have some knowledge on what to do if you are under a lot of stress and need to cool off. Of course, it’s still far better for you to see a professional if the stress levels get to the point where it’s taking a toll on your health; even if your family may have some ideas on what you should do to try and soothe your stress, if it’s having a nasty effect on your health, then you will need to see a specialist.

Such health effects can be increased heart pressure, which could lead to a heart attack; obesity, which could also lead to some sort of heart disease in the short term, and diabetes, which, again, can lead to heart problems. Stress certainly isn’t something to be taken lightly.
